Kibana is an open-source data visualization plugin for Elasticsearch. It provides visualization capabilities on top of content indexed in an Elasticsearch cluster
Users can create bar, line, and scatter plots or pie charts and maps on top of large amounts of data.
The Kibana interface contains four main sections:*
- Discover - in this section you can filter log messages (including by time) and find the data you need
- Visualize - in the Visualize interface page you can create, edit and view custom visualizations
- Dashboard - This section allows you to create, edit, and view custom dashboards. Dashboards combine multiple visualizations into a single page and can filter them.
- Settings - This section allows you to change Kibana settings.
