Aliases in cPanel
Guide to working with your domain aliases in the cPanel control panel
Manage domains that are not used to create the site and can be mirrors of the main site in section "Files → Aliases "
Domain aliases allow you to provide access to your website under a different domain name
To use domains as aliases, they must be registered by a valid registrar and configured to connect to your DNS servers.
The alias root directory does not change and is in the public.html folder.
After adding an alias, you can add a redirect from it to any other domain. To add a redirect, click "Redirect Management ":
Enter the domain you want the redirect to go to and click "Save ":
A similar error can occur if the domain you specify with the alias is already added to the server.
If you add an already working domain as an alias, i.e. with a site, the site will simply stop working. And that address will display the main site for your cPanel account.
