Autoresponders in cPanel
Description of connecting the answering machine in the cPanel control panel
An enabled autoresponder sends a reply to all users who have emailed you.
To add an autoresponder, go to "Email → Autoresponders"
In "Manage" select the domain
Autoresponder Setup:
- Configure the email encoding, the recommended value is utf-8.
- Specify the response interval.
- Specify the email account from which the reply will be sent.
- Configure the message:
Note that you can use your own value for the "From" and "Subject" fields, or you can substitute inbox values using tags:
- %subject% - subject of message sent to autoresponder.
- %from% - the sender name of a message received by an auto-responder, if available.
- %email% - address of the sender of incoming messages.
To change or delete an answering machine, go to Current answering machines.
