How to Add an Additional IP Address on Windows Server
Step-by-step guide to configuring an additional IP address in Windows Server through network settings.
Additional IP addresses on a server enable you to host multiple websites, separate services, or set up failover configurations. In this article, we will walk through the process of adding an additional IP address to Windows Server using the system's graphical interface. The procedure takes just a few minutes and requires no special technical knowledge.
Log in to the server via RDP as the Administrator user.
To configure, open Start → Settings.

Next, navigate to Network & Internet → Ethernet → Change adapter options.

Right-click on the existing connection and select Properties.

Next, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.

In the window that appears, click the Advanced button.

In the advanced settings window, click the Add button.

Enter the IP address and subnet mask.

The IP address has been successfully added to your server.
