How to Create a New User in Windows Server for Remote Access
Step-by-step instructions for creating users in Windows Server.
To allow an additional user to connect to a VPS running Windows Server, you must create an account for them and configure remote connection permissions to the server.
Attention
By default, only two administrators can connect and work on a Windows Server simultaneously. A separate remote access license is required for each new user. The cost of one license is €13/month.
Connecting to the Server
To create a new user on Windows Server, you must first connect to the server via RDP.
Adding a User
Press Win + R and enter control panel. In the control panel that opens, go to the User Accounts section.

In the next window, select User Accounts again.

Then click Manage another account.

At the bottom of the screen, select Add a user account.

In the window that opens, enter your username and set a strong password.
Note
The setup wizard will warn you if the password you selected is not strong enough. We recommend using passwords of at least 8 characters long, with a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters.
In the Password hint field, enter a hint to help you remember your password if needed.
Click the Next button.

Done! You have successfully created a new Windows Server user. This user is now visible in the list of accounts and can be used to connect remotely to the server.
