Checking availability of your server's IP address

To check the availability of your Virtual Hosting IP address, VPS, or Dedicated Server, you can use Looking Glass.

Looking Glass is a tool that allows users to remotely check routing and network availability from the perspective of a specific network.

You can find the server's IP address in the servers menu.

For example, on the traceroute.org website, select the country from which you want to check the server's availability. Let's say it's Russia. Then select one of the servers, for example, here. An example of checking the availability of our server fornex.com is shown below:

Similarly, you can check the availability of your server. If you notice any availability issues, please contact our support team (https://fornex.com/my/tickets/) and specify which server and IP address you used to check availability. We will analyze and resolve the issue immediately.

If the server is accessible from any Looking Glass server, but you still cannot connect to it from your computer, you need to check the availability of your computer. First of all, determine your external IP address. This can be done using the following links:

• 2ip.ru
• myip.ru
• myip.com.ua
• myip.by

Once you know your address, you can check its availability, and if you notice any problems, contact your provider's support team and provide them with the results of the check.
