Cascaded VPN Connection via AmneziaVPN App Using the WireGuard Protocol on Windows
Set up a cascaded VPN connection on Windows using the AmneziaVPN client with the WireGuard protocol.
A cascaded VPN connection enhances your security by encrypting traffic in multiple layers and helps reduce the chances of blocks or restrictions from internet providers and online services.
AmneziaVPN is a modern multi-protocol VPN client that allows connections to servers using various protocols, including WireGuard, Xray, and others.
To connect to a VPN on your Windows device, download AmneziaVPN.
In your personal account, select the desired VPN country and download the configuration file to your device.

Entry location: It’s recommended to select a country that’s geographically closer to your current location.

Exit location: Websites and services will detect your connection as coming from the selected country.
Open the AmneziaVPN app and click Let’s get started.
In the next window, select File with connection settings and upload your configuration file. Click Connect
Note
If your provider blocks the WireGuard protocol, enable obfuscation to bypass restrictions.
Click Connect to establish the connection.
Once connected, the setup is complete.
Warning
When using the WireGuard protocol, only one active connection can be established at a time.
After connecting to the VPN, you can check your IP address using 2IP.
