Licensing options

Deploying Windows Server on a VPS is available exclusively through our licensing program. The license is added as a recurring additional service during the checkout process.

  • Standard license: €12 per month (flat rate, regardless of CPU core count).
  • Trial version: We also offer a 180-day Trial license. Once the evaluation period expires:
    • The system will automatically shut down every hour.
    • Windows will stop receiving standard updates (excluding critical security patches).
    • An activation watermark will permanently appear on the desktop.

Important: After the trial period ends and is renewed, you will need to completely reinstall the operating system. During the reinstallation process, all data on the VPS will be deleted. If you are using Windows Server for important projects, we recommend that you choose a server with a full license from the start.

Availability:

  • Licensed versions (2019, 2022 and 2025): Available in our Germany and Netherlands locations.
  • Trial versions: Available globally (Germany, Netherlands, USA, Russia).

Remote access & connectivity

Windows Server utilizes RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol), providing a high-performance graphical interface for remote management.

  • Administrator access: By default, the system supports 2 concurrent administrative sessions.
  • Standard users: If you require more simultaneous users, you must purchase RDP CALs (Client Access Licenses).
  • RDP CAL pricing: €13 per month per user.
