Configuring security (DKIM and SPF)

To prevent your emails from ending up in the "Spam" folder, you must configure domain signatures:

  1. Navigate to Email → DKIM Manager.
  2. Select your domain. The panel will automatically generate the required keys.
  3. Ensure that your DNS records include the correct SPF and DKIM entries.

If you are using external DNS (e.g., Cloudflare), you must manually copy the generated values from the EmailList Emails section to your DNS provider's dashboard.

Accessing Webmail

For quick access to your mail without configuring third-party clients, CyberPanel provides a built-in webmail interface:

  1. In the menu, select Email → Access Webmail.
  2. Enter your full email address and password.
  3. Once logged in, you can send and receive messages using the modern Rainloop interface.

Setting up email clients

If you prefer using Outlook, Thunderbird, or mobile apps, use the following configuration parameters:

  • Incoming/Outgoing Server: mail.yourdomain.com (replace with your actual domain).
  • IMAP Port: 993 (SSL/TLS).
  • SMTP Port: 465 (SSL/TLS).
  • Username: Your full email address.

To ensure secure connections work correctly, remember to issue an SSL certificate for the mail service under SSLMailServer SSL.

Monitoring and limits

In the Email → Email Limits section, you can set hourly outbound limits for each account. This helps protect your IP address reputation in the event that an account is compromised by spammers.
