Basic server administration

We offer free assistance with essential administration tasks for VPS and dedicated servers that have a supported control panel installed. This helps you quickly launch your project and handle common initial setup needs.

Basic Administration Scope

1. Initial OS installation on the server (for VPS, the OS is always installed from the client-selected template at no extra charge).
2. Resetting the administrative/root password for Linux-based VPS and dedicated servers.
3. Adding additional IP addresses to the server.
4. Configuring backups, including remote backup destinations (if additional space is purchased on our backup server).
5. Installing standard PHP modules and other software packages.
6. Installing standard software from official repositories.
7. Updating the operating system within the current major version and package base.
8. Installing popular PHP modules from the repository.
9. Basic server tuning/optimization based on your project’s load requirements.
10. Free migration of up to 10 websites per order.
11. Basic firewall (iptables) configuration with a set of standard static rules.

Additional Conditions

• Free basic administration is available only for servers with one of the following control panels installed:
  HestiaCP or BeAdmin on Ubuntu 22.04 / 24.04.

• Support services are provided only to customers who do not resell hosting or offer services to third parties.

• Fornex Hosting S.L. reserves the right to refuse basic administration services if the initial server setup was performed by third-party administrators.

• Fornex Hosting S.L. provides basic administration on an "as-is" basis with no guarantees.

• Fornex Hosting S.L. reserves the right to refuse any work without explanation.

One-time Administration Tasks

If your task is not covered by basic administration, create a support ticket — we will assess the scope and agree on the cost.
