Backup in BeAdmin
Guide to Setting Up Backups in the BeAdmin Control Panel
BeAdmin is a modern, flexible, and user-friendly control panel designed to simplify server and website management. Whether it’s hosting websites, managing databases, or configuring services, BeAdmin provides all the necessary tools within a single convenient interface.
Backup Configuration
The backup feature is available in the “Backups” section of the control panel.

Please note the following current limitations:
- Only one backup job can be created;
- The start time is fixed at 01:00 server time;
- You can only adjust the frequency within a weekly period;
- Only full backups are supported;
- Backups can be downloaded via SSH — in future versions, this will also be possible directly from the control panel interface.
These limitations are temporary and will be removed in upcoming releases.
To enable backups, go to the “Jobs” tab and activate the default job Backup job for beadmin core.

You can set the backup frequency (from 1 to 7 days). 1 — daily, 3 — every three days, 7 — weekly. The countdown starts from the moment you save the settings. The default value is 1.
If needed, you can change the job name and frequency.

Each job has its own card displaying:
- the date of the last completed backup;
- the date of the next scheduled run;
- the backup contents;
- the storage location.

Storage Locations
In the “Storage Locations” tab, you can specify the directory where backups will be saved.

By default, the directory /var/lib/beadmin/backup is used.
To specify a different directory, click “Edit” next to the desired job, enter the new storage path, and save the changes.
