Account suspended due to mass emailing

How to avoid getting blocked for spam?

file

Mass email distribution (spam) is strictly prohibited by our Terms of Service:

3.9 The Subscriber undertakes not to use the Services provided by the Operator, including the means of virtual hosting (hereinafter VH), virtual server (hereinafter VPS) and dedicated server (hereinafter DS) for: mass mailings[1] of advertising messages (spam) via email services, mass placement of links, email marketing tools, etc., including those containing links to the resources placed on the Operator’s facilities;

If we detect that your service is being used for spam distribution, we will have to suspend it until the issue is resolved.

If your website has been compromised by hackers, we strongly recommend scanning all your sites with an antivirus tool such as Lynis or Chkrootkit.

To enhance your security and prevent potential issues, follow these best practices:

  • use strong passwords.
  • avoid setting 777 permissions on files or folders (recommended: 755 for directories and 644 for files).
  • change FTP and admin panel passwords at least once a month.
  • scan your computers for malware at least once a month using antivirus tools like Dr.Web CureIT.
  • regularly update your operating system (OS), CMS, and other software.
  • ensure that you use only verified third-party CMS modules.
  • use licensed CMS versions ("nulled" versions contain backdoors in 90% of cases, allowing hackers to exploit your website and server).

By following these recommendations, you can minimize the risk of your website being compromised and avoid service suspension.
