Setting the time zone on the server

If you need to change the default time zone while managing your hosting, you can easily do so in a few steps.

In order to change the time zone for the site, add the following line to the .htaccess file, which is in the root directory of your site:

php_value date.timezone "Region/Zone"

You can also specify the time zone using php.ini For php.ini the line will be as follows:

date.timezone = "Region/Zone"
